CEH has kept up to date with the fast changing world of digital imaging to provide the best images and techniques for our clients. Digital imaging involves tools to help pinpoint and diagnoses the condition in a pain free environment.

  • Yearling radiology: It is common standard for thoroughbred yearling to have pre sale radiographic examinations. 34 views of legs are taken to best identify radiographic abnormality in the young horses. By having accurate and high quality images the saleability of your yearlings are improved through allowing repository Veterinarians a fast interpretation. Our experienced veterinarians provide a detailed report for the vendor with accurate risk assessment for sale or further use.
  • Radiology: Advanced portable technology that provides an instant high quality digital image to allow for the most accurate diagnosis, with ability to be sent via email to you for your records or other veterinarians for referral consultation. Early and accurate detection of abnormalities (Lesions) are seen through the correct limb positioning and advanced knowledge of our veterinarians. Detection of radiographic abnormalities allows early intervention be it surgical, medical or management.
  • Diagnostic Ultrasound: A non-invasive way to diagnose soft tissue injuries, provides vets with accurate images for best possible treatment options
  • Video Endoscopy: Uses a non invasive video camera that allows us to view the structure and function of a horse’s airway. A horse experiencing poor performance may have a respiratory dysfunction such as abnormal noise (Roarer), structural abnormalities or functional deficiencies. We have the ability to use endoscopes in the field or at our hospital facilities.
